Qur’an Kalamullah

A beautiful piece to share ….

Rasullullah s.a.w. said “When a man dies and while his relatives & friends are busy preparing for the funeral, there stood an extremely “handsome man” by his head.  When the deceased is shrouded, the ‘handsome man‘ gets in between the shroud and the deceased’s chest.”

Soon the crowd left after the burial, and the deceased is visited by Munkar and Nankir to interrogate the deceased on his faith. Both Munkar and Nankir requested the ‘handsome man‘ to go away and leave the deceased for interrogation to which he replied “The deceased is my companion. He is my true friend. I will not leave him in any case.  If you have been assigned by Allah swt please proceed. But I shall not leave him until I get him into Jannah.”

Thereafter the ‘handsome man‘ turned to the deceased and said “I am the holy Al Qur’an. You always read me everyday, without fail.  Sometimes aloud, sometimes silently in your heart. Do not fear the interrogation, for as soon as it is over, grief no longer” and the ‘handsome man‘ proceeds to prepare specially for the deceased from Al-Mala’ul A’laa (angels in Jannah) silk beddings filled with fine musk.

Prophet Muhammad s.a.w said “On the Day of Judgement before ALLAH swt, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Holy Al Qur’an Kalamullah, neither a prophet nor an angel.”
